Scottish Elite Have Skeletons In The Closet: The Liz Docherty Case


In light of the harrowing Hollie Greig case it has become clear that the Scottish elite have many more skeletons in the closet and many more stories worth an investigation. A system that thinks nothing of raping a down’s syndrome girl and covering it up are bound to have a long track record of corruption, and it’s starting to unravel thanks to the effort of independent researchers and activists.

An often used but scarcely followed term is “be the change you want to see in the world”. Duncan Simms of WeAreChange Norwich is trying to be that change, and immediately following the revelations of the Hollie case decided to go in to the belly of the beast with support from WideShut.

Although the BBC flatly refused to even talk about the Hollie case, a whole new situation has come to light. This is the story of Liz Docherty, who has been a victim of the Scottish establishment since childhood.'
